Fantastic Journey DVDFantastic Journey was a 1970's American science fiction short-lived television series. It was started on February 3 and ended on June 17, 1977 same year, and was originally aired on NBC. The main theme of the story concerns a family along with their associates who charter a boat out into the Caribbean for a scientific expedition. Therefore, they were lost and during their travel they encounter different people from different time who trapped at the mysterious uncharted Island from which they are unable to escape. In order for them to escape they should find “Evolandâ€Â. The main characters of the story are Varian portrayed by Jared Martin, he is the man from the 23rd century possessing awesome powers. He use a crystalline turning fork device named the Sonic Energizer used as a sonic manipulation of matter. Next character is Scott Jordan played by Ike Eisenmann, he was the 13-year-old son of a famous scientist. Carl Franklin as Dr. Fred Walters- just out of medical school. Katie Saylor as Lianna the daughter of an Atlantean father and an extraterrestrial mother. Lianna possessed greater than human physical strength and apparent telepathic skills presumably due to her mixed heritage. And lastly Roddy McDowall as Dr. Jonathan Willaway the rebel scientist from the 1960's. |
